Colesteatoma de conducto auditivo externo: presentación de tres casos y revisión de la literatura

Resumen

El colesteatoma de conducto auditivo externo es una patología infrecuente. Se caracteriza por un acúmulo de detritus de queratina que erosionan la pared del conducto, principalmente en su porción inferior. El tratamiento puede ser conservador o quirúrgico, dependiendo de la etiología, el estadio, los síntomas y las características clínicas. Se presentan tres casos clínicos de pacientes diagnosticados de esta entidad. El objetivo de este estudio es describir los hallazgos clínico-radiológicos relacionados con el colesteatoma de conducto auditivo externo y su tratamiento.
