Caraterísticas imagiológicas de lesões nasossinusais: uma série de casos

Resumen

Objetivo: Descrever a abordagem diagnóstica e as caraterísticas imagiológicas de diferentes lesões nasossinusais. 

Desenho do estudo: Série de casos.  

Material e métodos: Revisão do processo clínico de doentes com lesões nasossinusais, avaliadas no Hospital Pedro Hispano no ano de 2020, com análise das caraterísticas demográficas, apresentação clínica e características imagiológicas. 

Resultados: Obtivemos 6 casos, 4 mulheres e 2 homens, com idade média de 52.7 ± 22,8 anos. Lesões nasossinusais incluídas: hemangioma capilar lobular, linfoma B difuso de grandes células, papiloma invertido, sarcoma mieloide, melanoma e meningoencefalocelo. A obstrução nasal unilateral foi o sintoma mais comum (100 %). Outros sintomas: epistáxis (66,7%), cefaleia (66,7%), diplopia (33,4%), rinorreia (16,7%) e hipoacusia unilateral (16,7%). Todos realizaram TC dos seios perinasais (100%), 2 (33,4%) realizaram RMN. Em 5 deles (83,3%) foi realizada uma biópsia pré-operatória.

Conclusão: O padrão imagiológico das lesões fornece pistas relativamente ao seu comportamento histológico, permitindo por vezes fazer o diagnóstico e evitar biópsias perigosas.
